Company History

Part of the Eugene and Lane County community since 1881, when the company was known for fine millwork made from locally harvested Willamette Valley timber. As the building industry changed, so did Midgley’s. A significant new chapter began in September 2005, when Roger Oberg and Mike Collins bought the company. Their construction experience became a significant part of what distinguishes Midgleys today. The company now provides everything from product selection and installation to chimney sweeping, repairs, custom construction and securing appropriate permits. Its team coordinates large fireplace projects, including framing, insulation, drywall, painting, mantels and stonework.

Facilities & Showroom

Midgleys operates a beautiful 4000 square foot showroom in Eugene. A well-stocked warehouse and the administrative offices give the company enough space to support its sales operation and its installation and service teams. Midgleys' manufacturing partners also promote the showroom as a place where you can see products burning in person, a terrific advantage when comparing flame appearance, styles, options and controls.
