Your We Love Fire Expert

Carolina Hearth & Patio / Boiling Springs, SC

Long before Carolina Hearth & Patio sold a single fireplace, the family behind it was building houses and hand-crafting mantels, and that builder’s eye still shows in everything they do. Tucked into Boiling Springs just north of Spartanburg, this family-owned shop handles the whole picture: gas logs, wood stoves and fireplaces inside, grills, fire pits and outdoor kitchens out back, plus custom stone work done under their own builder’s license. Their creed is personalized, honest service, and it’s why WeLoveFire.com is proud to call them a preferred dealer: a team that would rather teach you what you need than sell you what you don’t.

Company History

The story starts in 1987, when B. Scott Marlowe was building homes around Boiling Springs and crafting fireplace mantels on the side. By 2000, customers wanted the whole fireplace, not just the mantel, and Marlowe & Co. opened as a retail store. Three years later it took the name Carolina Hearth & Patio, and in 2006 the family opened the 5,000 sq. ft. showroom that still anchors the business today. Now led by President Cathy Marlowe, the company remains locally owned and deeply rooted in the Boiling Springs business community, serving homeowners and builders across Upstate South Carolina and Western North Carolina.
