Company History
Custom Fireside opened for business in 1968. In fact, our main store, while now much larger, is still located at the original 5545 Auburn Blvd. address in Sacramento.
We began business making new and replacement fireplace screens for the local community. We quickly grew into selling hearth accessories, gas logs, and glass fireplace doors. As the alternative heating market grew, we began offering wood and gas stoves, inserts, and built-in fireplaces.
Today, Custom Fireside is northern California’s premier provider of fireplace and stove products and accessories. We have two showroom locations to service the greater Sacramento and Central Valley retail and contractor markets for remodels, inserts, and new home construction.

Both Custom Fireside locations display over 100 gas, wood, pellet and electric fireplaces, inserts, stoves, and mantels. Dozens of the units are fully operational. Let one of our experts show you the options for your new or existing home.
Services We Provide
Custom Fireside has a service department with a service manager and three technicians. We understand that our customers have made a significant investment in a hearth product and we are committed to servicing your product over its lifetime, including warranty work, annual service, and any necessary repairs.- Our technicians are factory trained
- We carry specialist certifications from the National Fireplace Institute (NFI) on gas, wood and pellet appliances
- All products we sell in our service area are supported with full on-site warranty service at no added charge.
- Our repair services are offered to those who have purchased their fireplace, stove, or insert from Custom Fireside. However, we do offer a list of third party service providers.
