Company History

Sierra Home Alternatives, located in the beautiful historic town of Placerville, California is a locally owned and operated business established in 1997. We are the most highly recommended source for the sales, installation and service of hearth-products, as well as Solatube natural skylights in El Dorado County, California.

Facilities & Showroom

Our 2000 sq. ft. showroom, an old renovated redwood and brick historic building, has over 80 beautifully displayed wood, gas and pellet appliances. The showroom is naturally lite by Solatube Tubular Skylights making the environment inviting and relaxed. We also occupy a 2000 sq. ft. warehouse which is located on the same property as the retail showroom. The warehouse is primarily a staging facility for scheduled installations and the service department.
