Company History
The Fireplace Expert opened its doors in Carbondale in 2024, built around a simple idea: mountain homeowners deserve a neighborhood fireplace store, not a big regional chain. Owner Arturo Rojo set up shop right on Highway 133, stocking the showroom with gas, wood, and electric hearths built for Colorado's elevation and its long, cold winters, and offering the installation and maintenance know-how to back it up. It's still a young, hands-on operation. Small enough that the person who designs your fireplace is often the same one who helps install it, with its sights set on becoming the Roaring Fork Valley's go-to hearth shop from Aspen to Vail.
