Founded in 1988 by Jeff and Melissa Barnhart, the company was born from resilience, determination, and a deep connection to the local community. After a life-changing logging accident shifted their career path, the Barnharts began selling wood pellets from their garage in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. What started as a small operation quickly grew into a trusted hearth retailer as demand increased for wood, gas, and pellet stoves backed by knowledgeable service and honest advice. As the years passed, the business expanded into fireplaces, BBQs, spas, and outdoor living products, eventually moving into a state-of-the-art 24,000-square-foot showroom in Post Falls.
