Company History

Our company started as Lafayette Masonry Supply in 1966. Our parents, Bob and Bette Brown, started the business from scratch and encouraged all of their kids to spend time helping where they could to grow their flourishing business. The original business location was in a very small barn-like building. In 1970, we moved to a new location -1799 North Ninth Street- where we could start expanding our fireplace shop. That building housed our hearth store for many years until our operations outgrew that facility in 2005. Lisa, Kim, & Carl split off and moved to our current location at 435 Farabee Dr.

Facilities & Showroom

Our facility and showroom is located at 435 Farabee Dr and has 2800 sq.ft. of display space. We also have over 3200 sq.ft.in our warehouse to house the very best hearth & heating products. We strive to stay up-to-date on the newest trends in our showroom. Since opening in 2005, all of our displays have changed multiple times. We have over 32 burning displays. We feel like our customers need to see the difference in the units and view how they actually look. We provide customers with samples of many different faces and hearth sizes to give them an idea of different looks, styles, and designs.
