Feen's Country Living began in the summer kitchen of Bob and Wendy Feen's 18th-century farmhouse in the middle of the 1970s energy crisis, when gas rationing and oil shortages had everyone looking for a way to stay warm without a tank truck. The Jotul wood stove they'd waited months for became the spark for a business built on helping neighbors do the same, and more than fifty years later the Feen family is still behind the counter in Fitchburg, Massachusetts. The company has grown into a full hearth and outdoor living dealer while staying true to its roots, holding an A+ BBB rating since 1992 and active membership in the region's hearth, patio, and barbecue trade association.
