Company History

Fireplace Lifestyles opened its doors in Grand Rapids back in 2000, started by Spike and Mari after they'd already spent years learning the hearth trade in the Twin Cities and decided a smaller northern Minnesota town was where they wanted to build something of their own. That small start grew into one of the region's largest and most professional fireplace, stove and stonework retailers, eventually branching into wholesale distribution as word spread across Itasca County and beyond.

Step into the Grand Rapids showroom and you'll see why people drive in from three counties away. More than fifty fireplaces, stoves and inserts are burning right there on the floor, so you can watch the flames before committing to one for your own living room. Wander past the stone displays (the largest real-and-manufactured stone selection in northern Minnesota) and a wall of handcrafted and reclaimed-beam mantels, and it's easy to lose an afternoon imagining what your own hearth could look like. Staff are on hand for on-site consultations, walking you through options at your pace.
