Company History

Energysavers opened in Meredith in 1975 as, in its own words, "The Original Home Hearth & Spa Center." More than fifty years later, that's still exactly the role it plays for Lakes Region homeowners. It's now a two-generation family-owned business under President Steven Dumais, grown from hearth products into a true one-stop shop for wood and gas stoves, hot tubs, saunas, and grills. The company also marks 1994 as the point it became "trusted local experts," a sign of a business that kept building its reputation rather than coasting on its opening date. Its technicians are NFI certified and fully licensed across New Hampshire, credentials that explain the repeat customers.

Facilities & Showroom

The showroom on Route 3 is built so you can see what you're buying before it's sitting in your living room. Soapstone, cast iron, and steel stoves next to gas and wood fireplaces, with Hot Spring hot tubs and Tylo saunas close enough that you can picture the whole backyard retreat coming together in one visit. It's a hands-on kind of place: live displays to walk around, dedicated advisors on hand to talk through fuel types and finishes, and no pressure to decide before you're ready. For a small-town showroom, it covers a surprising amount of ground.
