Four Winds Chimney / Ballston Spa, NY

The Ballston Spa office traces back to 2010. Waterford native Jamie Wallace had been working weekends for a local chimney company when he took what he calls “a big leap of faith” and started his own business. He woke up at 5 a.m. to hang flyers around the neighborhood. That scrappy start grew into Chimney Heroes, a team of 20 covering everything from Albany to Warrensburg. In 2026, Chimney Heroes joined forces with Four Winds Chimney, a company built on four generations of family masonry expertise, combining local expertise with industry resources and providing the Capital Region with an expert in complete hearth services.

Whatever heat source fits your home, budget, and lifestyle, the Ballston Spa team can help you understand the real tradeoffs. They can compare the convenience of gas with the ambiance of wood, or the simplicity of electric with the efficiency of a stove. Their goal is to help you find the right option, rather than steering you toward whatever is easiest to sell.
