Barbecues Galore began as a wholesale company called Tradex Supply in Calgary, Alberta, which still operates today. Tradex initially distributed barbecues to retailers across Canada, but soon ventured into retail themselves. In 1979, they opened their first retail store under the name Barbecues Galore. From our modest beginnings in Calgary's wild west, we have grown to operate five stores across Canada, including two in Calgary, and one each in Burlington, Oakville, and Etobicoke (Toronto), Ontario. We specialize in selling and installing top-quality fireplaces and barbecues from renowned brands like Valor, Amantii, Dimplex, Napoleon, Weber, Broil King, DCS, Hestan, and Lynx, among others.

Our fireplace division has been thriving for over 60 years. We took over Woods Fireplaces, a company established in 1938, and continue to provide the best service and expertise in the Canadian fireplace industry. While Barbecues Galore is our name, fireplaces make up a significant portion of our business. Each of our locations features numerous installed and operational fireplaces, allowing you to see and feel them in person rather than just browsing a catalogue. We boast the largest fireplace showrooms in Canada, and each one lives up to that claim.
