Vanport Fireplace and Chimney, Inc. / Vancouver, WA
There’s a reason the name on this Vancouver crew’s trucks nods to the old wartime city that once bridged the Columbia River: Vanport Fireplace & Chimney serves both sides of it. Owners Louis and Courtney Lee built the company around Louis’s second-generation trade background in Portland-area masonry, roofing, and leak repair, then brought that same CSIA-certified, NFPA 211-trained expertise across the river to Clark County homeowners. WeLoveFire.com is proud to endorse this family-owned crew: they treat every fireplace and chimney like it’s protecting someone’s home, not just closing a job.
Company History
Vanport Fireplace & Chimney Inc. was incorporated in 2016 and opened its doors in Vancouver, WA in 2017, founded by Louis and Courtney Lee as a sister company to the Lees' Portland-based chimney business. Louis, a second-generation contractor born and raised in Portland, brought his CSIA certification, his time as the youngest-ever President of the Oregon Chimney Sweeps Association, and his role as an instructor with the National Chimney Sweep Guild across the river to build a dedicated home for Clark County customers. The company is a licensed general contractor in both Washington and Oregon and holds membership in the Mason Contractors Association of America.

Certifications / Affiliations
Vanport Fireplace & Chimney's team is led by a CSIA Certified Chimney Sweep through the Chimney Safety Institute of America, meaning they've been formally trained and tested on chimney safety, venting, and masonry practices, not just taught on the job. Every inspection and repair follows NFPA 211 fire-safety standards, and the company holds EPA Lead-Safe Renovation certification for older homes plus membership in the National Chimney Sweep Guild and the Mason Contractors Association of America. When you invite this crew into your home, you know they've been trained, tested, and held to a standard that goes beyond a basic license.
Product Summary
Vanport doesn't just repair what's already installed, they help homeowners choose what goes in next. Their lineup spans gas, wood, and electric fireplaces and freestanding stoves, along with matching inserts for each fuel type, custom mantels and surrounds, and fireplace conversions when a home needs a different fuel entirely. The team goes further outdoors too, building custom pergolas, outdoor kitchens, BBQs and pizza ovens, and hardscaping for homeowners who want their fire feature to extend past the living room wall. A dedicated fireplace showroom is in the works, so this curated, contractor-backed selection is only getting easier to see in person.
