Company History

Blackburns got its start in 1986, when founder Steve set out to build a Columbus chimney company with service so good it would become the standard every competitor measured against. Forty years later, owners Debbie Wiedwald and her husband, Mike, carry that mission forward with a crew that feels more like family than staff. Many are related or close friends, and new hires often arrive on a teammate’s recommendation.
