We are the only bilingual province in Canada! We are home to the only Magnetic Hill in the world! At Hopewell Rocks we get over 16 meters (52 feet) tide! Saint John is the oldest Canadian Incorporated City!
Our history dates back in the 1500’s when Jacques Cartier came from France. We soon became part of Acadia and one of the four founding provinces of Canada. Our people are energetic and hardworking. From Moncton to Edmundston, driving by Fredericton, Saint John, Sussex and into the Tracadie region. We are home to the best lobster, beautiful beaches and abundant forest.
Our people, the Acadians, have contributed to build not only our Province, but also Prince Edward Island (île St. Jean), New Orleans, Louisiana, to name a few.
